Meet the Iron Hub Team: Ruthella on Wine, Guests & Special Moments
Great wine may bring people through the door, but it’s the people and experiences that make a visit memorable.
For Iron Hub team member Ruthella, one of the best parts of her job is getting to know the people who visit the winery—from longtime Inner Circle Club members to first-time guests discovering Iron Hub wine.
“I think with guests, my favorite part is just seeing everybody and learning the different club members,” Ruthella says. “And even getting people who are new to the area to experience the wines and just seeing their eyes light up. They’re like, ‘I can’t believe I like everything that I’m tasting.’”
Those moments of discovery are part of what makes working in the tasting room so rewarding. Every guest arrives with different tastes and experiences, and there’s always the possibility of helping someone discover a new favorite wine.
Celebrating Life’s Special Moments
Ruthella also works with guests planning events at Iron Hub, giving her the opportunity to be part of celebrations that extend well beyond a day of wine tasting.
“I’ve worked with some brides, I’ve worked with families doing reunions, and that is so much fun—to just be a part of somebody’s big experience in their life.”
